TEXTURES

KILLZONE E3 PSP 2006 TRAILER

We had a total of 8 weeks total to complete this project. We had one person doing UV's and a total of 4 people on textures. No procedural textures were used on any of the objects. All textures were completed using a photography based pipeline. All original maps were done at a resolution of 4k including the eyeballs.

We gathered a long list of costumes and props to use as reference from prop houses. High res photographs were taken of gasmasks, gloves, boots, Nazi uniforms, leather jackets, combat helmets, tanks, and more. We then used these photographs for our color, spec, and bump maps.

SOCOM PSP 2006TRAILER

We had a total of 3 weeks to complete the textures of 45 photo-real heads with 10 texture artists. We perfected the Sub Surface Scattering Shader to work with any color of skin using only 5 maps, and we set up a light rig to render the heads in Mental Ray for the look renders to send to the client.
